At the age of 12, Melissa starred in a short film about airplanes. It was some of the worst on camera acting ever! Thank God she continued to study and has received numerous awards and critical acclaim for her acting abilities.

Melissa is the winner of the Spirit West Coast Music festival, best singer songwriter: Best Singer Songwriter, where she opened for the David Crowder Band in front of 10,000 people.

As an accomplished singer and songwriter, Melissa’s talents have taken her around the world, performing in Spain, Greece, Costa Rica and Fiji as well as numerous engagements here in the states. Melissa’s original music and dynamic voice continue to be heard in feature film and TV projects. And she has 2 new albums:

Melissa stars in a new TV pilot as the uber fan "Debbie from Tarzana". It's hilarious and quirky fun. She also wrote the song "Stalking You" which she sings and dances to in the show with an obsessive love for the 80's and her cats. Like for sure. Melissa's hubby, Ryan Paul James is the writer of this incredible series and is current taking meetings with TV Networks!
